• End of year celebrations

  Today we took a look back on our year as we celebrated the achievements of pupils together with our wonderful Ofsted judgement. Rev Andrew gave out some prestigious awards along with Emma our pastoral support team member. We said a sad good bye to Mrs Francis and wish her every success in her new school, Mrs Boyd who is retiring and to Mrs Scott who is following her dream and taking up a new post in Bangkok. We also said farewell to Commando Joe and thanked him for his contributions at Hope. They will all be greatly missed and we wish them every success for the future.

   

  We will be welcoming Mrs Gardner to our EYFS and Reception class, Miss Gee to our Year 5 and Mrs Rawstorne to her supportive role in Y6 and in KS1. We look forward to working with them and their contributions to Hope.

   

  We said a sad good bye to Year 6 who have been an absolutely wonderful group, acting as true ambassadors for Hope. We will miss them very much but wish them every success for the future.

   

  The whole school sang beautifully during our celebration. Their rendition of 'The Prayer' by Celine Dion and Adrea Bocelli was truly awesome.

• Snow White

  The year 6 production of Snow White at the end of term was just magnificent! The children were word perfect. They sang, danced and entertained us all with their humorous take on the traditional tale of Snow White. Every child had their moment of glory within the show. • Farewell Mrs Bradley

  Today we said farewell to a remarkable lady - Mrs Bradley leaves us after an amazing 43 years at the school. An assembly was held to celebrate with fun, laughter and tears. Enjoy a happy and long retirement. Love form all at Hope!

  

• Knowsley Champions!

  Congratulations to our netball team who are the new Knowsley Champions and will go on to represent Knowsley in the forthcoming Merseyside Championships! We wish them the best of luck! • Our Favourite (Potato) Book Characters

  Children were tasked with producing their favourite book character using a potato as their base character. The finished pieces were really creative. Well done to the children and families who took part!

• Do you know who you are talking to online?

  As part of our e-safety we had a police offer visit school to talk to Years 5 and 6 and deliver some strong messages to them. He asked them 'Do you really know who you are talking to online?' He also reminded them that they have to 14 years old to have Facebook account!
