Pools to Schools
We work with ELITE Swimming UK to deliver bespoke the ‘Pools to Schools’ programme at Hope. They provides everything you need to have a swimming pool at your school. All staff hold at least one Level 2 coaching qualification, Enhanced DBS, First Aid Certificate. The pool is heated and has its own changing rooms.
We have the pool at Hope for 6 weeks annually allowing children to be taught in groups of 6 (Y1/2) and groups of 12 (Y3-6). We believe this approach maximises the opportunity for children to acquire swimming skills over time.
