Welcome to 6K's class page
Hello and welcome to our class page. 6K is taught by Miss Kelly. We have a great year ahead of us and have lots of exciting learning opportunities.

Important Information:
P.E. Day:
During this term (Autumn) 6K's P.E. day will be a Friday. All children should attend school each Friday in their full school P.E. kit.
Science and Art/Music/DT:
We are extremely lucky to have these lessons taught by specialist teachers - Mrs Price and Miss Sykes. The lessons are usually on Wednesday (Mrs Price) and Thursday (Miss Sykes) although this can change due to trips or other school events. Children will be updated where possible if this is due to change.
Homework:
Weekly homework totalling 80 minutes.
All homework will be assigned on Friday and checked the following Friday.
- Reading on bug club 3x weekly (10 mins each)
- TTRockstars 3x weekly (10 mins each)
- SATS companion maths and English 1x weekly (approx 20 mins)
Bug Club:
Children have access to a online reading platform called Bug Club. Children have been given their individual log ins for
Bug Club. If you need a new copy or password reset please see me.
SeeSaw:
Children have been logged into SEESAW in school and can use this as a journal for any activities they are asked to complete outside of their daily homework e.g. science/music/art tasks.

SATs Revision materials
The links below can help Y6 children tackle the kinds of Maths questions they will come across in their SATs. Click on the topic area you want to practise, look at and try the questions, then click on the youtube links to see a video on how to answer the question correctly, and see if you got it right!
Tip: If you have a printer at home, you could print the questions page and write your answer on the sheet before you watch the youtube video for each question.
