Hope Remembers

Today children in Years 5 and 6 experienced a range of activities as part of their WWII project. They cooked using rations, jived together and made newspaper reports as the latest information came in from the War Office. They tracked the tracked the progress of our fleet, built anderson shelters and explored Germany today. They also filmed news reports and interviewed key people as well as meeting evacuees.

A big thank you to all the staff who organised and took part in the day. It was a great experience. Check out our school blog and the blogs from Years 5 and 6 for more information and photographs.
