A fond farewell.....
A fond farewell……
After a long and distinguished career in education, Mrs Basnett has announced her retirement. She played a key role in the creation of Hope Primary six years ago and establishing it as the fantastic school it is today.
Mrs Basnett said, “Hope Primary has been one of the highlights of my career. It's a wonderful school and community and I am proud to have worked with the children, families, staff and parish communities. Hope is not only a school, it's a family where each and every member is cherished. I have loved my time here and feel privileged to have been instrumental in establishing Hope and see it flourish as a haven and a beacon of learning within our community. I wish the school every success for the future.”
We wish her a long and happy retirement.
Goodbye to…
Mrs Cannon will also be retiring at the end of the Summer term. It brings to a close many years of distinguished service at Hope and formally St Dominic’s. Over the years, Mrs Cannon has supported hundreds of children and parents to achieve great things. We thank her for all her support over the years and for her contributions to the school. We wish her a well earned and happy retirement!
Miss Carran will be leaving Hope to take up a new position in Birmingham. During her short time as Learning Mentor, she has been a valued member of our school. We wish Miss Carran good luck in her new post.
